Pilgrim Statue of Our Lady of Fatima to Visit Churches Across Goa

Goa, May 14, 2026: The National Pilgrim Virgin Statue of Our Lady of Fatima will travel across the Archdiocese of Goa this month, inviting the faithful to renew their commitment to prayer, penance, conversion, and peace in the wake of the May 13 feast.

The statue, entrusted to the National Centre in Goa since 2002, has been on pilgrimage across India for years, fostering Marian devotion among the faithful. Accompanying the statue are relics of Saints Francisco and Jacinta Marto, adding spiritual significance to the visits.

During its May itinerary, the statue will be received in several parishes: Our Lady, Queen of Martyrs Church, Assolna (May 13–14); St. Francis Xavier Church, Chicalim (May 15–16); Our Lady of Candelaria Church, Baina (May 23–24); and St. Elizabeth Church, Ucassaim (May 30–31).

The Archdiocese of Goa and Daman, custodian of the relics of the Fatima visionaries, has organised the pilgrimage to deepen devotion and encourage reflection on the enduring message of Fatima.
