A Call to Pray and Encourage Our Priests This Week

April 22, 2026: As we continue this 30-day prayer journey for priests, inspired by Pope Leo XIV’s call, we now enter Week 4 (April 23–28)—a time to offer support and encouragement to priests.

This week, you are invited to stand beside priests in a more personal way—through prayer, presence, and small acts of encouragement. Behind their ministry are moments of joy, but also fatigue, loneliness, and quiet struggles. Your prayers and gestures can become a source of strength, reminding them that they are not alone in their vocation.

Week 4: Support & Encouragement (April 23–28)

Apr 23: Your parish priest(s)

Pray: 1 Our Father + 3 Hail Mary (mention him by name)

Apr 24: Mental and emotional health

Pray: Quiet personal prayer + Anima Christi

Apr 25: Joy in ministry

Pray: Prayer of thanksgiving + Read Luke 1:46 - 55

Apr 26: Encouragement

Do: Message a priest today + offer today's mass for the priest

Apr 27: Discouraged priests

Pray: Divine Mercy Chaplet

Apr 28: Perseverance

Pray: 3 'Our Father' slowly and mindfully + Visit the Blessed Sacrament if possible

This week, take a moment to reach out to a priest. A simple message, a prayer said with intention, or a quiet visit to the Blessed Sacrament can bring comfort and hope in ways you may not see.

Walk with them. Pray for them. Support them—quietly, faithfully, consistently. Share this with others and let us encourage more people to pray for our priests.
