May 25, 2026: YU4C India has launched a nationwide art competition themed “Come Holy Spirit,” inviting young artists from across the country to creatively express the spirit of Pentecost through faith-inspired artworks.
The initiative, open to participants between 16 and 35 years of age, seeks to encourage youth to reflect Christian values such as faith, hope, love, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit through artistic expression ahead of the Pentecost celebrations.
Organisers said the competition aims to provide a meaningful platform for young people to combine creativity with spirituality while deepening their reflection on the message of Pentecost. Selected artworks will be featured in the YU4C India Online Platform, giving participants an opportunity to share their faith journey and inspire others through art.
The competition welcomes a wide range of artistic forms including painting, sketching, illustration, digital art, and mixed media. Participants are encouraged to prayerfully create artworks that glorify God and capture the beauty and inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
As part of the submission process, entrants are required to send clear and high-quality images or scans of their artwork along with details such as their name, parish or region, contact information, and the title of the artwork.
Entries must be submitted on or before June 6, 2026, either through email at nishachelseas@gmail.com or via WhatsApp at 8722545819.
Through the initiative, YU4C India hopes to foster faith-based creativity among young people and promote artistic reflections on the spiritual significance of Pentecost across the country.
