The Examiner Launches Ongoing ‘Ink & Inspiration’ Series with Book Study on C.S. Lewis’ The Screwtape Letters

Mumbai, August 7, 2026 : Following the success of its Ink & Inspiration Writing Workshop held earlier this year, The Examiner Catholic Newsweekly is expanding the initiative into an ongoing series designed to foster thoughtful reading, meaningful discussion and creative engagement with Christian literature.

The next event in the series will be a Book Study and Discussion centred on C.S. Lewis’ classic work, The Screwtape Letters. Scheduled for Sunday, 23 August 2026, the session will take place from 4.00 pm to 6.00 pm at Loyola Hall, St Peter’s Church, Bandra (West).

Rather than a conventional lecture or presentation, the gathering has been designed as an interactive discussion where participants will exchange ideas and reflections after reading the book in advance.

Exploring a Christian Literary Classic

First published in 1942, The Screwtape Letters remains one of C.S. Lewis’ most celebrated works. Written as a series of fictional letters from a senior demon to his inexperienced nephew, the book offers a unique perspective on temptation, morality, faith and the human condition.

A registration fee of ₹100 is applicable.
