The procession commenced at the St. Francis Assisi Cathedral, where Archbishop Joseph Kalathiparambil ceremonially handed over the Holy Cross to KCYM Verapoly Archdiocese President Rajeev Patric. The faithful then moved in procession through key parts of the city before returning to the Cathedral, symbolising a shared journey of devotion and unity.

Among the dignitaries present were Bishop Antony Valunkal, Mother Shahila CTC, and Fr. Peter Kochuveettil. They were joined by Fr. Ebin Jose Variyath and Fr. Jiju Cletus Thiyadi, along with representatives from various Church organisations.

From the state KCYM leadership, Akshay Alex, Rose Mary K.J., and Joyson P.J. were present, along with executive members, regional leaders, and local unit participants led by Cathedral Unit President Amal Mary.
