Bengaluru, September 12, 2026: Senior citizens in Bengaluru will have an opportunity to reconnect with the world of work as the 11th edition of the Jobs 60+ Job Fair is held on Sunday, 11 October 2026.
The initiative aims to bring older job seekers and employers together on a common platform, helping senior citizens remain financially independent, purposeful and actively engaged.
Organised by the Nightingale Empowerment Foundation, in association with Nightingales Medical Trust and St. Joseph’s University, the job fair is expected to feature more than 70 employers offering around 1,250 job opportunities.
The event is specifically aimed at elders between 55 and 70 years who are physically fit, willing to work and seeking opportunities to address financial insecurity.
The Jobs 60+ initiative recognises that many older adults continue to possess valuable professional experience, skills and a strong willingness to contribute to the workforce.
For some, employment can provide more than an income. It can offer a renewed sense of purpose, social interaction and the satisfaction of remaining productive.
By bringing employers and experienced job seekers together, the fair seeks to create opportunities that allow older adults to continue participating actively in society while making use of their skills and knowledge.
The job fair will take place from 9.30am to 3.30pm at St. Joseph’s University, Langford Road, Bengaluru.
Job seekers attending the event are advised to carry three copies of their CV or résumé, along with relevant documents. Registration through the official Jobs 60+ website is mandatory.
New job seekers should use the Profile Registration option on the website. Those who have already registered should select Event Registration and choose “Mega Job Fair – 2026”.
Applicants will need to provide their registered email address and indicate their willingness to attend the event before completing the registration process.
The organisers have encouraged eligible senior citizens to register in advance rather than waiting until the day of the fair.
The event reflects a growing effort to support older adults who want to remain economically active and engaged in their communities.
