Holy Spirit Church Palda, Indore, Youth Celebrate National Youth Day with Faith and Fellowship

Palda, Indore, Madhya Pradesh, August 8, 2025 – The youth of Holy Spirit Church, Palda, came together in a joyful and prayerful celebration of National Youth Day, on 3 August, with around 30 young participants gathering under the guidance of Parish Priest Fr. Rajesh Tirkey, Youth Animator Mr. Alok Tirkey, and Youth President Miss Nisha Tirkey.

The day commenced with a spiritually uplifting Holy Mass, where the young faithful united in prayer to honour their calling in Christ. The liturgy set a tone of gratitude and commitment, reflecting the spirit of National Youth Sunday.

Following the Eucharistic celebration, the programme featured a series of meaningful and engaging activities. Motivational talks encouraged the youth to embrace their faith with courage and conviction, while a Bible quiz deepened their knowledge of Scripture. Lively action songs filled the atmosphere with praise and joy.

Interactive games fostered teamwork and strengthened bonds among participants, while a tree planting activity served as a symbolic gesture of commitment to nurturing both spiritual growth and environmental stewardship.

The enthusiasm and dedication displayed by the young people reflected the essence of this year’s theme: “You too will testify, because you have been with me from the beginning” (John 15:27).

This vibrant celebration was a reminder that today’s youth are not only the Church’s future but also a vital force in its present mission. Their participation and devotion stood as a testament to their desire to grow in faith and become authentic witnesses of Christ in the world.
