Carlo Acutis Exhibition to Be Available in 18 Indian Languages

Upputhara, Kerala March 1, 2026: The Carlo Acutis Foundation India has announced a major localisation initiative to translate the internationally known Eucharistic Miracles of the World exhibition of Carlo Acutis into 18 major Indian languages, significantly expanding access to the young saint’s digital evangelisation mission across India’s diverse linguistic communities.

The project is being undertaken with the spiritual guidance of Antonia Salzano and aims to make the exhibition accessible to millions of faithful in their mother tongues. According to an official clarification, all content from the saint’s official website remains exclusively copyrighted to the Association of Amici di Carlo Acutis. The Indian foundation has been formally entrusted with responsibility for authorised Asian translations, ensuring fidelity to the theological and historical integrity of Carlo’s original research.

A Malayalam version of the exhibition was first introduced in 2019. An updated high-definition edition of the Malayalam panels is scheduled to be hosted on the official platform in December this year.

The translation project is coordinated by Ephrem Kunnappally, who leads a team of scholars and linguists tasked with preserving doctrinal accuracy and historical authenticity. The exhibition will be available in Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Telugu, Tamil, Gujarati, Urdu, Kannada, Odia, Malayalam, Punjabi, Assamese, Maithili, Kashmiri, Konkani, Manipuri, Sindhi and Nepali.

Alongside the Eucharistic Miracles exhibition, the Foundation is also translating panels on Marian apparitions, another significant dimension of Carlo’s research. These translations are expected to be completed in all 18 languages by the end of December 2026.

To support wider dissemination, the Foundation is developing dedicated digital platforms, including a national website and a mobile application that will host the exhibition panels, prayers and biographical resources related to the young saint.

Speaking about the initiative, Fr. Kunnappally said the project seeks to continue Carlo’s vision of using digital media to deepen faith in the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist. Under his leadership, the Foundation is also coordinating a broader global translation effort aimed at making the exhibition available in major international languages by 2027.
