Ajin Joseph Appointed to CCBI Family Commission

New Delhi, 8 May 2026 (CCBI): The CCBI has appointed Mr. Ajin Joseph as Associate Secretary to the Family Commission with special charge of Pro-Life Ministry. The appointment was made during the Executive Committee meeting held on 5–6 May 2026 in Bangalore.


Ajin Joseph currently serves as CCBI’s Catholic Engagement Manager for “Chosen” and is a member of the National Council of the Youth Commission. With over 15 years of missionary experience, he has worked across more than 70 dioceses in India and abroad, engaging over a million people through faith-based events, leadership training, and evangelization initiatives.


Ajin Joseph has been actively involved in pro-life advocacy as a national coordinator of India’s March for Life and has collaborated with Church leaders on initiatives promoting the dignity of life and family values. He has conducted training programmes for young people on digital evangelization and ethical challenges facing society today.


He has played a key role in organizing national youth conventions, including large-scale Kairos gatherings, and has coordinated leadership and discipleship programmes across dioceses. He has also contributed to the formation of numerous youth prayer groups and communities and supported the growth of Catholic music and youth movements.


He holds a master’s degree in English literature, along with degrees in Arts and Education. He is known as a public speaker, musician, and communicator with a strong commitment to the Gospel and the mission of the Church.
