Adrian Rosario Appointed as Laity Commission Secretary

New Delhi, 8 May 2026 (CCBI): The CCBI has appointed Mr. Adrian Rosario from the Archdiocese of Bombay as Secretary of the CCBI Commission for Laity. The appointment was made during the Executive Committee meeting held on 5–6 May 2026 in Bangalore.

Mr. Rosario brings more than three decades of professional experience, including 12 years in the IT sector and over 22 years in Human Resource Management, training, and education. He holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics and a Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Software. He has also received leadership training at the Centre for Creative Leadership (USA).

He has served as a management faculty member, teaching Human Resources and Organisational Behaviour at several institutes in Mumbai. He has conducted training programmes for corporates, NGOs, hospitals, and educational institutions. As an HR consultant, he has supported various organisations. He is the former Dean of the Xavier Institute of Management, Mumbai and has also worked with IBM India in the Human Resources Department.

He has been a member of the CCBI National Laity Council since 2024. He is also a visiting faculty member at Jnana Deepa, Pune, where he teaches pastoral leadership and HR management for deacons. He has worked closely with the Bombay Jesuit Province in training parish leaders.
