Yuvadarshan EC Formation 2025 Empowers Youth Leaders Across Vasai Diocese

Sandor, Vasai, July 21, 2025 – The Yuvadarshan Executive Committee (EC) Formation 2025 brought together 65 youth leaders from across the Diocese of Vasai for a day of spiritual renewal, learning, and fellowship at Atmashodh Kendra, Sandor.

The formation began at 8:30 a.m. with registration and refreshments, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The morning continued with a vibrant start as participants joined in spirited action songs followed by a deeply moving Charismatic Prayer Service.

An insightful formation session followed, led by Fr. Christopher Vaz, Director of Yuvadarshan, together with the core team. Drawing inspiration from the themes of Christus Vivit, Fr. Christopher centred his reflections on three core messages: You Are Loved – a reminder of each person’s identity in Christ; Youth is a Time of Dreams – encouraging young people to dream boldly with faith; and Belonging to a Community – highlighting the importance of unity and fellowship.

Participants were then treated to an energetic and motivational session by Mr Abner Dias, India’s top-rated celebrity host and emcee. He began with a series of engaging games, smoothly transitioning into a powerful talk that challenged the youth to reflect on their purpose and mission in life.

The day’s spiritual high point came at noon with the celebration of the Holy Eucharist, presided over by Bishop Thomas D’Souza of the Diocese of Vasai. In his homily, the Bishop underscored the essence of youth leadership rooted in Christ, service, and love.

A word of gratitude was expressed to Fr. Robert Gonsalves, Director of Atmashodh Kendra, for generously making the venue available for the day’s event.

The programme concluded with lunch and a renewed sense of purpose among the Executive Committee members, who departed with a strengthened commitment to serve the youth of the diocese in the year ahead.

Yuvadarshan EC Formation 2025 proved to be a dynamic, spiritually enriching, and empowering experience, setting a solid foundation for youth leadership across the Diocese of Vasai.
