Youth Heritage Conclave Invites Students to Explore Learning Beyond the Classroom

Thiruvananthapuram, June 19: Students from across India are being encouraged to participate in the upcoming Youth Conclave on Heritage, a national-level academic and cultural gathering aimed at fostering a deeper appreciation of India’s heritage while broadening educational horizons.

Scheduled to be held in Thiruvananthapuram on July 6, the conclave is being organised under the banner “Knowledge Walk – Learn Beyond Classrooms” and carries the theme “Preserving the Past, Inspiring the Future.” The initiative seeks to inspire young people to engage meaningfully with the nation’s cultural legacy while exploring opportunities for learning beyond conventional classroom settings.

As part of the selection process, schools have been requested to conduct screening examinations between June 15 and June 23. Organisers have also urged educational institutions to share programme details and promotional materials with parents through school communication channels to encourage wider student participation.

In a message addressed to principals, teachers, and parents, the organisers highlighted the value of national-level academic exposure for young learners.

“Exposure to national academic events helps students understand the diversity of educational opportunities available across India, broadens their perspectives, enhances their confidence, and assists them in making informed career choices in the future,” the communication noted.

The conclave is expected to provide participants with a unique blend of academic engagement and cultural enrichment, enabling them to interact with peers from diverse backgrounds while gaining a greater understanding of India’s rich heritage.

Promotional materials for the event feature cities including Vadodara, New Delhi, Guwahati, Shimla, Bhubaneswar, and Thiruvananthapuram, underscoring the initiative’s nationwide reach. The promotional poster also carries the name of the Embassy of Russia in New Delhi alongside the Knowledge Walk platform.

By combining heritage-centred learning with national student participation, the Youth Conclave on Heritage aims to cultivate informed, confident, and culturally aware young citizens prepared to contribute positively to society and the future of the nation.
