Faith Formation Commission Organises 27-Kilometre Walking Pilgrimage in Jowai Diocese

Jowai, 13 May, 2025: The Faith Formation Commission of the Jowai Diocese successfully organised a 27-kilometre walking pilgrimage to Mynsngat Parish, drawing over 200 participants. The event was led by Fr. Manbha Pakem, Diocesan Coordinator for Basic Ecclesial Communities (BECs), and Sr. Sooki Rufina Nongrum, Assistant Diocesan Coordinator for BECs.

Participants engaged in continuous prayer and hymn singing along the route, fostering a communal atmosphere. Each pilgrim brought their own packed lunch, which contributed to the spirit of shared participation and unity.

The pilgrimage concluded with the celebration of the Holy Eucharist at Mynsngat Parish. Fr. Aibordenis Nongbah, Parish Priest of Mynsngat, presided over the Mass, joined by Fr. Marksferson Sympli, Assistant Parish Priest, and other clergy members.
