Karnataka Christian Community Development Corporation Launches New Schemes and Web Portal

Bengaluru, October 17, 2025: The Karnataka Christian Community Development Corporation (KCCDC) launched new schemes and its official web portal on October 17 at KMDC Bhavan, Seshadripuram.


The event was inaugurated by Hon’ble Minister for Waqf and Minority Welfare, Shri B.Z. Zameer Ahmed Khan, who highlighted the government’s vision of equal opportunity and shared progress. He noted, “The Karnataka Christian Community Development Corporation has been set up to support the Christian community—especially those who are socially and economically weaker—and to promote the growth of their institutions. I sincerely hope that the ₹250 crores allocated by the Hon’ble Chief Minister to this Corporation will benefit the Christian community through its various schemes.”


Hon’ble Political Secretary to the Chief Minister, Shri Naseer Ahmed, extended best wishes, emphasising the schemes’ potential to enhance the community’s overall development.


Chairman Prof. S. Japhet expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister, Ministers, government, and Christian leaders for their support. He assured effective implementation of the schemes and, alongside church leaders and institutions, called for increased publicity to help eligible individuals access the benefits.


The event saw the presence of several renowned dignitaries.
