Feb 23, 2026: This Lent, let us step into a daily two-minute encounter with Jesus, guided by the intimate conversations recorded in St. Faustina’s Diary. Come, listen to His voice, and speak to Him from your heart.
Day 5: Today, let us allow St. Faustina's words to sink in. “Silence is a sword in the spiritual struggle.” (Diary, 477)
Let us remember that silence is not weakness — it is strength. St. Faustina learned that silence protects the soul. In a world quick to react, explain, defend, and argue, silence becomes a spiritual weapon. It prevents unnecessary wounds, guards charity, and creates space for grace.
She also wrote, “In silence the soul draws strength from God.” (Diary, 888). Silence is not emptiness; it is encounter. It is where God strengthens what the world exhausts.
Today, let us choose interior quiet. Resist unnecessary words. Let your heart rest in Him.
Ask Yourself: Can I choose silence instead of reacting today? Where is God inviting me to interior quiet?
Pray: Jesus, teach me to quiet my soul and grant me the strength of holy silence.
