Fr. Anil Crasta Steps into Key Leadership Roles at CARITAS INDIA

Delhi, September 3, 2024: Fr. Anil Crasta, a priest hailing from the Diocese of Gulbarga, has officially taken on the role of Associate Director of CARITAS INDIA and Deputy Secretary of the Social Development Commission of the Conference of Catholic Bishops of India (CBCI) on 2nd September. This prestigious appointment is a significant milestone in Fr. Anil's long-standing commitment to social service and development.

Fr. Anil’s journey in social service has been marked by his tireless efforts to uplift marginalized communities and foster development. His previous roles within the Diocese of Gulbarga include serving as the Director of Mary Pawada Mathe Church in Itga. He also led ORBIT in Humnabad and Seva Sangama in Kotnoor, both social development organizations focused on improving the lives of the underprivileged.

He served as the Director of St. Paul’s Mission at Ekamba in Aurad Taluka and is also pursuing his Ph.D. in Social Service, highlighting his dedication to the field.

Fr. Anil’s new role with CARITAS INDIA and the CBCI will allow him to expand his impact, bringing his extensive experience in social service and development to a national level.
