CCBI Releases In unitate fidei in Penang

Penang, Malaysia 29 Nov 2025: The CCBI has released the Indian edition of Pope Leo XIV’s Apostolic Letter In unitate fidei, marking the 1700th anniversary of the Council of Nicaea. The first copy was presented by Cardinal Filipe Neri Ferrão, President of both the CCBI and the FABC, to Cardinal Tarcisio Isao Kikuchi, S.V.D., Archbishop of Tokyo and Secretary General of the FABC.

The ceremony took place in Penang on 29 November 2025 during the FABC Congress on Great Pilgrimage of Hope in Penang, Malaysia in the presence of Cardinal Pablo Virgilio David, Bishop of Kalookan and Vice President of the FABC; Cardinal Giorgio Cardinal Marengo, I.M.C., Prefect of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia; Archbishop Peter Machado of Bangalore and Vice President of the CCBI; Archbishop Vincent Aind of Ranchi and Secretary General of the CCBI; Rev. Dr. Stephen Alathara, Deputy Secretary General; and Rev. Dr. Christopher Vimalraj, Associate Secretary General.
